Why do my old text messages reappear when i switch from one message app to another? For example, i wanted to see what message plus was like because i just got an s7 edge, and a bunch of old deleted texts started coming in as new messages. is there a way to not sync messages to the cloud?

Unwanted messages can certainly be annoying. You may actually go into your Cloud app & unsync Messages. Once in the Cloud app, you may click on Menu (3 lines in upper corner)-> Settings->What to Backup
