Unopened Texts

So the screen on my phone is cracked and I can not read or see my text messages (or anything else.) When my new phone comes in and is activiated will my unread texts be transferred to my new phone?

The network will attempt to deliver messages for five days (120 hours) from the date of its receipt of the message.  Messages not delivered within five days will be automatically deleted.
