US aAccount, but in Canada

Hi All,

 

I am in Canada for a week, and I have been told conflicting answers to my question. If I text another Verizon phone, will I be charged for roaming? I know my texting plan is fine and I will not incure extra charges for that, but my phone is always roaming, and I do not want to incure 69 cents per minute for roaming. Any one have experience with this?
