Who said it?  What is the source?    Doubtful this will ever become available considering it is privacy invasion. You can view phone numbers that messaged the phone or phone numbers that were messaged.

Who said it - someone who is trying to get their boyfriend to quit texting another girl.  The someone said that parents would be able to monitor their child's activity by being able to view text message content.  I find it hard to believe as well but want to confirm before I tell the boyfriend it's fabricated.

I hope this is false.  That just does not seem to be right you could do that, violation of privacy.  How the heck are they going to get the text from your phone online into the account anyway and why the heck would they spend the money to set all this up?  I gotta think it's a rumor or someone is pulling your leg.  Mary

Read this thread-->reading your kids text messages online?

Kathleen (admin) here on the Verizon forums recommends it.

Sounds like a drama case though. Don't believe everything you hear.My mom told me when I was in my young teen years that she could view the actual content of the text messages. Later on down the road I asked her if it was true.Seh said no and that she was just joking.  Not possible to do and won't be possible to do unless of course a subpoena is involved.

TheGreatOne is right, You will not be able to view the actual content of the text messages online unless you draw a court-ordered subpoena and you will have to go through Verizon's legal system to do so. So the information you received is false. It's an invasion of privacy and also illegal.
