If I have the monthly text plan of $5 for 500 texts, does it cover picture and video messaging?

Would a video message count as a "text?"

No question is silly.

Since you have the 500 messaging plan, pictures/videos & even instant messaging will all go towards your 500 messages. Video message goes towards your messaging plan.
