Retroactively upgrade messaging plan

Hello, our family has recently used 2,000 more texts than our plan allows. I heard from a friend that Verizon allows customers to upgrade to unlimited retroactively. Is this true, and if so, how would I go about doing so?

If it's before the end of your next bill cycle you can infact upgrade to a higher text package to cover that additional usage. Just call Customer Service and they'll help figure out what the best option for you is.
