Removed Text Messages

Some messages that I know I received or sent do not show up on Bill Usage information - does deleting them at the handset, delete the information completely - or should it still show in the My Verizon usage?

It should all show in your Unbilled usage information, in Billed Information, there should be no access to your texting details, just a summary of Sent and Received txt.
