Mobile IM on Verizon XV6900 (HTC Touch)?

I recently got the Verizon XV6900 or HTC Touch. My last phone was the original LG V. My LG V had mobile IM on it (which I used frequently). Now I have the HTC Touch and it appears that I can't get Mobile IM on it? Is this true? If not can someone explain how to get it?Mob

You cannot get mobile IM on a PDA. I was also disappointed with my phone when i learned of this. I have the Palm Centro.
