Does anyone know if there is a workaround to Verizon filtering mms messages via SMTP?
I'm attempting to send an mms with a .jpg attachment via smtp to gmail. When I log into gmail directly and send the email to the @vzwpix.com address it works fine. However, when it is sent via smtp, it will show as sent in gmail but the phone never receives the message. It seems likely Verizon is filtering these messages because gmail preserves the send header details and there is an ip mismatch that it is detecting.
Hoping someone knows a workaround or if this "spam filtering" can be opted out of on specific phones.
