LG Vortex/contacts cant see text messages

I have several verizon and non-verizon contacts that have varying devices that when I text them they either get all boxes, a bunch of special characters, or just a couple words of my message. But I can see every text they send me!!!! HELP!!!! Why are these people not gett

Are you using a "signature" when you send text messages? Special characters (smileys?) A different font that their phone can't interpret? Any or all of these can result int he things they are seeing.

If none of the above apply, post back and we can further troubleshoot....

  HAHA!  Not really a genius, but thanks anyway!  I'm glad it was one of simple fixes!!
