Issues with new update

Since the update, I have had issues with not being able to send or receive picture text. When I try to text, my phone will add random spaces where one of the letters was. It's very annoying going back and taking them out. Also, I'm not really impressed with anything the new update did to my phone. Can you explain what the point of personalizing and changing my phone was?

Updates are only intended to enhance your device! I certainly want to resolve your concern with picture messages. Are you using the native messaging application? Try clearing the cache/data on the messaging application by going to Settings>App>Select the messaging app and clear. Please ensure mobile data is on and connected, power the device off/on and test. If unsuccessful, please share which device you have so I can further assist and be more specific. Thank you.
