If I click details, and there is no device listed from where messages have been sent, what does it mean?

If I check the details of a message, will it always say phone when sent from a phone? What if no device is listed?

We're happy to assist with your concerns. Just to clarify, were you attempting to view usage on your MyVerizon, or another source? Do you have Verizon Messages synced and being utlized?
