Identifying a Verizon address on my WiFi

I've been accessing my modem's GUI and I keep seeing this address-

lkg08-mediamanager.verizonwireless.com

I'm curious if anybody knows what this is.  I'm wondering if this is a text message being sent to or from my phone over Wi-Fi.  Thank you!
