How do you sign up for integrated messages?

I'm trying to use the text over Wi-Fi function, but my phone is telling me I need to sign up for Integrated messages. How do I do this?

Verizon Messages FAQs | Verizon Wireless


Using the Verizon Messages app on your phone, tablet, desktop Windows PC, Mac desktop or the web will automatically subscribe you to the Integrated Messaging service. You can also sign up for Integrated Messaging on the web by signing in to My Verizon from the My Messaging page and clicking "Go to Web App."

If you have unsubscribed from the service, you can re-subscribe any time.
