How do I forward text messages to an email account

I've searched posts and haven't been able to find an answer.  How do I forward an existing text message from my phone (Android X) to an email address?  I haven't found any options on the phone which facilitate this.

 

An help is greatly appreciated.

Select forward, and put the email address where the phone number would normally go.
