That update was released on 05/17/2016. You should have received it. If not, I would manually check for an Software Update.

  • Fixed incorrect vzwadmin APN requests
  • Improved memory management to reduce sluggishness
  • Security patches

I appreciate VB your response I have manually checked for the 31F28 update and be I'm still not getting it could you help me out with how to connect to a computer and side load it

Are you on wifi or cellular data when checking for the update?  You need to be connected via cellular on the Verizon network to get the update.

Sorry I tried cellular network without wi Fi It says cannot connect to server

Try removing then re-inserting the SIM card.   The tablet IS an active line on your account, correct?

Can you get online to any site (via cellular)?  Is it only the Verizon server you are having difficulty accessing?

If it's all sites, perhaps the SIM card is defective and needs to be replaced.  They are free at a corporate store.
