Pretty disappointed with Verizon right now. I'm new to this tablet. While trying to connect to home wi-fi to avoid data overage last night, I fell asleep. Well, the tablet automatically went to cellular and used up over 2G of data while I slept!! I immediately added 2G to this month to try and fight overcharge. Well, I called to explain my delema, hoping to get help, since you could clearly see the overage was all from last night. Nope. All she offered was to upgrade my account for this month by 2-4G, costing me another $10-20. Thanks, Verizon, for nothing. So understanding and helpful. Not. You gigged me and so many others, I'm sure. What happened to unlimited talk, text and data like other companies offer at less than half your prices??? UGH! Gouging the people again.
To avoid that in the future, go to settings > wi-fi > advanced > then tap on Keep Wi-Fi on During Sleep and change it to Always. Also set your apps to only update over wi-fi (or not to automatically update).
