I am currently running software version MV7B-31D41-422. I tried to connect to the server using wifi and get"cannot connect to server". I also tried it from the mobile network.

Your software (MV7B_31D41_422) is currently up to date. When you do need to update your software please turn off Wi-Fi and restart your device. The device should no longer show "cannot connect to server" and your device should update.
