The new Ellipsis Jetpack works as it should with my Dell tablet running Windows 8. However when using it with my Dell PC I have a problem with connection to most sites. Google comes up as it should. Search anything and it will pull up links. However select a link and the browser reports "IE can not display the webpage, Diagnose connection problems" . Does Verizon supply DNS server IP addresses to set the manual DNS in the Jetpack? Again DNS resolves www.google.com but nothing else. However it did resolve www.noaa.gov one time. The DNS server addresses reports in the ipconfig /all at the command prompt are displaying only IP Version 6 addresses. I have set the security to "Minimum" in the browser settings and still no connection. It sure would be nice to have someone to talk to at Verizon about this.

Corrected my own problem. I had previously set my WiFi card IP address to 192.168.1.2 to gain access to the Jetpack. This was not an address that the Jetpack DHCP server had delivered to my device. Therefore the Jetpack did not recognize it to pass data to it. Once I re-set the IP version 4 address to use DHCP it picked up both an IP address and DNS server addresses automatically. Full connectivity was achieved ! Why Google worked I may never know.
