So I log into my Verizon account and click to go to my cloud and I get a white page error. Is this going to be fixed anytime soon? Or is there another way to access this on my laptop? Because as far I am concerned I am wasting my money because it doesn't work.
Having your information backed up is key, cherney2! We certainly want to make sure you can view everything that is saved. Have you been able to access your information before? Do you get the same error with alternate web browsers? This link has more details on the Verizon Cloud to help as well: http://spr.ly/6601HrplV
No one should be using cloud locked to a carrier if they care about their photos. Stick to Google Drive, iCloud or even using external hard drives etc. for local backups.
Besides the obvious if you change carrier objection, I'm curious to understand the logic of not using a carrier's cloud service?
The same objection could be applied to iCloud because you are locked into apple's devices. I don't think there is an iCloud app for Android devices.
Even with the carrier options, they typically have a way for you to continue using their cloud service on another carrier's network.
Carrier options usually can take advantage of the intrisic features of the network to offer improvements to the service that non-carrier services cannot offer.
