Disconnected a phone from our share plan and transferred my phone to that contract. Now all my contacts are gone.

Last week we disconnected a phone from our share plan and transferred my phone to that contract.  Now all my contacts are gone.  I had to set up my voicemail again too.  I talked to Verizon customer service and went through the steps for backup assistant.  When I try to access that on my phone I get a message "account has configuration error". I went to manage my contacts online and backed up the contacts on the cloud.  I still get the configuration error.

Forgot to say that when I connected my iPhone to the computer it said I couldn't sync it with the Cloud.
