All Contacts did not show up during transfer? Google pixel 5

Any help with this?  It looks like it stopped at M. Also says16000 messages were saved but when I click view it takes me to my messages on current phone (which has1).....same with call log.  (Which has 1)

Have you tried another SMS Backup application available from the Play Store to backup the messages on the old phone and restore on the new phone?

I thought the pixel came with a data transfer dongle?   Like the one that came with my Samsung GS7

If you are using Google for your default for all contacts, rather than device, everything would sync when you google account was added
