How Do I Start A Discussion?

Hello, I'm new to VZW community -- can I ask you how you start a discussion? Thank you!!!!

You start a discussion, and then, if it is a question, you mark the checkbox under your question's heading.  IE...you have already started a discussion by asking a question.

Neither of these replies answers the question. In the forum, there is no icon to "start a discussion". I can only reply.
