Vibrate/Silent

Before the update, I was able to use my volumne key to go from the ringer to vibrate to silent.  Now I am only able to set the phone to go from ringer to vibrate or ringer to silent.  To switch between silent and vibrate, I have to go to the settings menu and change the vibrate setting.  Am I missing something obvious?  It seems strange that a good function would be omitted with an update.
