Saving pictures to SD card

I bought a SD card to save pic on but am lost. All I know to do is insert card. Any instructions?

Hi Rjsstew,

Great question! Congrats on your new SD card as well. I know picture memories are important, so an SD is an excellent way of preserving those memories. If you have the Samsung Fascinate here are the instructions on inserting the SD Card http://vz.to/16bB7q8. Once you have the memory card inserted, power the phone on, and any new pictures will automatically start saving to your SD Card. Did you have pictures saved to the phone that you want to move to your memory card? If so, please follow the instructions below:

Transfer photo from Samsung Fascinate to memory card:

-Press the Home Key
-Tap on Applications
-Tap on My Files
-Tap on DCIM
-Tap on Camera
If all photos stored in the Camera folder wish to be transfered, tap and hold on the Camera folder to bring up the options as in next step.
-Find the file destined to be moved, tap and hold on the item
-Tap on Move
-Scroll down, tap on sd, and tap on Move here

Now the photos have been moved to from Samsung Fascinate to memory card. There are enough space to use, you can transfer any favorite files to your mobile phone. Keep me posted.
