I found this article-->Fascinate Release Date
So looks like it probably will not be out this summer and most likely in the Fall.

The article kind of said what I thought when it came to a release date, since the Driod 2 has been reported to be coming out soon makes me think that the Fascinate wont be out for a litle bit because Verizon seem to follows the pattern of releasing there devices in speratic cycles so they will always have a new one on the table to continue the hype for the company.... For some reason all the carriers are starting to pickup this pattern, they get a device in and then have item on backorder and then realease a new device before the fill all the backorder devices to move customer to new device and then have that device on backorder...
So after all said and done I still think verizon will sit on the Facinate for a bit until the newness starts to vanish from the Droid 2 (That is if the rumor is correct that the Droid 2 is next on the release block)

For anyone who wants a bit more info on the different permutations of the Galaxy S in the US wireless market, here's an article that lists the 4 different carrier versions, with pics.

People can also compare each of the Galaxy phones side by side HERE. I know T-mobile is geting the Galaxy phone. My heart was set on getting the Nexus One but looks like I can't be buying that from Google in December. Don't know which android phone to get...Galaxy...MyTouch Slider....hm so many choices.

By this time around, I'd expect you to know to *always* get Stock/Vanilla Android before any other UI out there.
I was considering getting the Droid 2 and buy it full price for month-to-month, but I decided against it since it'll have MotoBlur on it. No thanks.

Verizon doesn't even acknowledge the fact that this phone is in development while Samsung promises it will be out by late summer.

By the time my upgrade comes there will be other android phones to choose from then the ones that are out now. Mike,I thought you disconnected your android phone all together and switched to the silly iPhone.
