Receiving Calls and Texts after regaining service

I get very spotty service in my workplace, and lately I have been getting reports that people are calling me, but I have no such evidence anywhere on my phone.  Also I will get a backlog of text messages usually 15-20 minutes AFTER I regain service.

Does anyone know why I am not getting a missed call?  Also, is there a way to receive my texts sooner after I regain service?

Thanks

If you disconnected from the network when someone calls your cell phone, there will not be any record on the phone that you missed a call. Remember, the phone was NOT on the network, and the carrier doesn't hold that information that someone hung up before leaving a voicemail..... personally, if someone wanted me to call them back, they would leave a voicemail.... (Just my opinion)

Text messages coming on 15-20 minutes after regaining network connectivity is normal. If a text message cannot be delivered to the phone right away, then it will go into a holding queue... and the queue will keep trying to send to your phone until it does...

and there is no way (at least that I know of) to make the text messages come quicker....

I'm having that same problem. People are claiming to have called me and I have no record of missed calls. It was so sparse, at first, that I assumed I was just in a bad area, but I noticed, this weekend that it was a regularly occurring. I spent the entire day unable to receive incoming calls, but could make outbound calls. I contacted my salesman, today, regarding a replacement after tech support walked me through a factory reset of the device and they still couldn't get an incoming call to come through. They were out of ideas on why this was happening. I even went to a corporate store, yesterday, but was told that I must be forwarding my calls. (What a joke!) Real nice customer service.... there and this coming from someone who could not even find the settings on my phone to check my network connections. LOL!!
