I've had this phone for over 2 years now, but it seems like something got messed up with the program that determines my battery life. The phone will be at half a charge and suddenly go to low battery and start flashing the red empty battery icon and then a minute later will shut down. I plug the phone in the powered down state and when the recharging icon appears, there's still have a charge in it. What's going on with this? Software issue? Is there a different battery manager I can use?
There are a number of battery meters in Google Play.
Maybe the battery is going bad?
