First, I think this is an AMAZING phone.  I really enjoy the Android OS, and I like how it is interchangeable with 99% of what's out there.

My only complaint is that when downloading a movie from Blockbuster, or even transferring a movie I've converted, it's not a smooth viewing experience.  It's jumpy and it's annoying.  The picture is just beautiful, it's not smooth.

In listening to music, I have the same problem of music "skipping".

Does anyone else have this problem?

It could be related to a defective SD card or just a bad connection to a card. Try the option on the phone to "unmount SD card" and then eject it and reinstall. See if it works. If it is still skipping, try to format it  and reload the data.   If these methods do not resolve your issue please try a factory reset. 

• From a home screen, select Applications.
   
• Select Settings.
   Select Privacy.
   
• Select Factory data reset.
   
• Select Reset phone.
  If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.
   
• Select Erase everything.
