Headset jack issue

Anyone have a problem with the headset jack? I've noticed that if you insert a 3.5 jack in all the way, it doesn't seem to work properly. You almost have to insert the jack in all the way, and then move it slightly out. If you do this while playing music, the music pauses. If you are on a call, you get disconnected.

I also noticed this the first time I used my ear phones.
But the last few times they have worked just fine.
I do make sure to put them all the way in.

I don't think it should be that way. Mine plugs all the way in and is tight.

The headphones I use are the ones right from Verizon. I get a 25% discount on accessories through my place of work, so it makes it affordable. I bought them when I got the phone.

Must have had some cheap headphones. Bought them from vzw, the jawbreaker ones. Ended up taking them back and went to Radioshack and purchased the v-moda earbuds. Those ones work great and sound terrific.
