Have you tried?

For all the people having trouble with their Nexus there are a few questions I like to ask.

1. Have you done a factory reset with Google backup turned off? Reason I ask this is because you could have corrupted cache backed up which will ALWAYS cause problems no matter what Android device you have. If an app is not 4.0 ready and you have it's cache saved it also may cause problems.

2. Have you tried flashing 4.0.2 again from Google Source? Reason for this one. Like with any computer sometimes things don't install right. Doing this may install the update correct.

3. Can I have screenshots or state what hardware version you have? Please remove any identifying lines if they are there like IMEI or telephone number. I have a theory and I want to talk it over with some coworkers to see if we can help.

Hmmm guess I won't be able to try a theory...

Sorry, I didn't have anything to add to this right away.

When I activated this Nexus I did leave the restore feature on and the Market did begin to download on the application that I did have installed on the Thunderbolt. As soon as I could, I did open the Android Market and stop all the downloads. I was able to catch it before anything was downloaded. I don't know if any other settings were also downloaded.

I should add that I had bought this phone used from a co-worker. He had the store help him do a factory reset on it while they were switching him to a different smartphone. As far as I know I was starting with a clean slate and Android 4.0.2 was installed.

Don't worry about it. I am trying to do some testing with firmware versions.  From what is going around there are 4 different firmware versions, and some problems may be attributed to the different versions(There should only be 2 versions).

And firmware version would be?

I have the baseband version, kernel info, and build number for the phone I have.

The only problems I have with the phone, is the restart that happens once in a while, but that happens when I have TuneIn Radio running. ESPN radio doesn't run for more than 45 sec at a time, and Angry Birds sometimes will close while playing. These are all app issues. Once in a while I have an issue with network, but not anything that is out of the ordinary. But I thought I would include the screenshot of the phone particulars for your investigation.

Yes I bought the phone on Launch day, and got it the next day via FedEx. So it is one of the originals (at least I think)
