First try wiping the cache partitioin.
When turning on phone, press vol up and vol down and power button.
When you get to recovery screen, vol down to 'wipe cache' option, then press
Home key. After wipe, make sure reboot phone is hilited, then press home key.
Phone will restart.
Try upgrade via menu..settings. about phone .. system updates .check new
Next thing to try, while a little painful, would be to delete some of the larger
market apps you've installed. Then try upgrade.
If that works, great. if not..see below.
Most wont like this possible answer, but as a last resort you
could try a 'factory reset' first.
Menu..settings...privacy. Factory data reset..
Then try the upgrade.
Be very sure to backup all contacts, calendar etc to your google account first !
( or at very least , export contacts to your SD card. Then import after upgrade. )
You will have to reinstall all your apps if you chose to go this route.
After resetting.. dial *228 option 1 to reprogram and update PRL list.
