Hello everyone,I'm new here so please bare with me for a little while. I've had the fascinate since Sept, and I'm already learning that between Verizon and Samsung things move at a crawl when it comes to major updates. I'm talking like a herd of turtles.

I'm just sick of being bounced around and hearing "i'm sorry for your inconvience" I'm gonna inconvience them next contract. I will never again buy another verizon wireless contract, nor will i EVER buy another Samsung product. I already purchased another brand of flat screen tv due to the debacle. SCREW YOU VERIZON AND SAMSUNG. MY MONEY SPENDS BETTER OTHER PLACES.

Recieved this response from Samsung regarding the 2.2 source code for the fascinate "Public firmware for froyo update version about SCH-I500 VZW (Fascinate) is not announced yet on the outside. After public release, we'll publish open source code of SCH-I500 VZW (Fascinate) on website. Please wait until early April. Thank you Sincerely yours." With the many lies Samsung have promised us I dont know if I believe them but at least thete not repeating the old "In the near future" bull

Kies means nothing to those who have the Fascinate. And that facebook post has been confirmed not to be an official samsung facebook page.

Hi.

We apologize for the delay. Verizon Wireless began pushing Android 2.2, Froyo, to the Samsung Fascinate on April 21, 2011. Enhancements include support for Adobe Flash Player. You can visit www.verizonwireless.com/fascinatesupport for more information and download instructions for the software update. Customers are able to download the update manually by going to Settings > About Phone > Update Phone.
