Facebook syncing with contacts?

My contacts don't seem to be syncing with my Facebook contacts, or at least the picture from the contact's facebook isn't showing up as their picture. I've uninstalled and re-installed the facebook app on my Droid X, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm not quite sure what else to do. And only some of my contacts facebook pictures show up (random people throughout). Sooo confused!

my droid froze 2 days ago so i powered off. turned back on n all my contacts were gone. i did all syncing n most numbers came back but without names . so i have no idea which numbers r whos??... after a few hours more contacts came back with names but now phone will not synce wit fb. so my contact pics from fb will not resync and ive lost everyones email addresses n other info from my contacts not connecting wit fb. i have uninstalled n reinstalled fb. multiple times n nothing is working  ........ n e solution out there to get fb to synce?
