App to turn off the sound

It seems I heard somewhere that there is an app available that will turn off the sound on the phone (alarm included) by turning the phone over. Does anyone know about this or a way to do this.

on 2.1, at least, it's a setting, I believe. I can't seem to find it in 2.2, though, and can't remember where I saw it. I know it was on my omnia, and it should be on the fascinate, as it was a touchwiz feature.
