App Icons + Widgets Slow to display on screen

When I finish using an app and press the home button, my apps don't show up right away. If I press applications I notice a spinning wheel like thing I guess telling me its loading or something? The apps eventually show up on the home and other screens but why does this happen? I have moved all of the apps that I can to the SD card. Could that be the reason? Anybody seen this and or know a fix for it?

  I have not moved ANY apps to the SD card, and it works fine. Is there a reason you moved them all? They do not generally take up that much space.

  That being said, what other things are you doing with the phone? Do you have it tied into your Facebook account? Are you using the Facebook widget to keep up with status's? This has been a big problem since the start, it will slow your phone down terribly....

I moved the apps to the SD card because they were filling up the internal memory, I currently have 900 MB free on the internal memory and before the move I had like 500 free. I don't have all apps on the SD card and some can't be moved. I don't use the facebook widget. I only use the facebook app and messenger app downloadable in the android market. I do use the Daily Briefing widget. I don't really do anything special with the phone, just use google maps, dolphin web browser, Facebook for android, some games like words with friends, etc
