I bought a Samsung Tab A7 and I have to sync Message+ with my S10+ phone in order to get texting and phone call capability. The Samsung Tab A7 Message+ and Camera app are not reading the QR code.
I open Message+ on my tablet (secondary device) and the QR code gets texted to my cell phone (primary device). Both devices are connected to WIFI. The A7 is a WIFI only device. Here is what I have tried to read that code:
1.) Scanning the QR code with a separate app (this scans fine but doesn't work with Message+)
2.) Scanning the QR code with camera app (this doesn't scan)
3.) Scanning the QR code with the Message+ app (this doesn't scan).
4.) Screenshoting the QR code, snipping the borders and saving as an image (scanning with camera and/or Message+ doesn't work).
When I state "this doesn't scan", what I mean is that the red bar keeps scanning up and down but does not recognize or scan a QR code.
Is it possible to just type in the code that the QR code converts to? This is extremely frustrating as it shouldn't be this hard to sync up devices.

DennisKlemenz, we definitely want to help make sure that you can get the assistance needed with your Message+ on your tablet. If a QR Code is needed, then you will need to scan the code. Do you have an option to scan QR Codes on the device? JoseL_VZW

Common problem. Search the forums and you will find more. Don't know if there ever was a solution. Mary

Dennis,
I'm having the same issue. Were you able to find a solution yet? I noticed Samsung states that the Call and Text From Another Device does not work with Verizon and AT&T phones.

Many users are experiencing this issue. I get the feeling that Verizon is trying to ignore the issue. I was on another message group that was closed today. Moderator said "Due to the age of this thread, it will be locked in order to keep discussions current. If you have the same or a similar question/issue we invite you to start a new thread on the topic." Yeah right.
