You can enable or disable the mobile data connection on your tablet using the steps at https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-68432/ as well as enable or disable WiFi to connect to an alternate internet connection with the steps at https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-68414/ .

Several ways.

  1. Remove the SIM card and use wifi.
  2. Turn off the cellular data connection and use wifi.
  3. Airplane mode and turn the wifi radio back on and use wifi.
