I setup my yahoo email as the email account on my samsung galaxy s3. I currently see 3 large probems:
1. when i read/delete email on my PC or my ipad, the changes are NOT reflected when i open the email acct on my phone & vice versa.
2. New email messages are delayed by as many 10 to 24 hours on my phone. When i've received new email on my pc or laptop & have not seen it on my phone & have done a manual refresh on my phone, the new mail is still not pulled in . I have powered my phone off & on.
3. The email folders that I created in yahoo are not showing on my phone, just the standard Inbox, Sent ,Trash, drafts are displayed.
As a workaround, i have downloaded the Yahoo mail application. but, the problem with that app is that, unless you pull ALL your mail contacts into your address book on the phone (i have over 100 & do not want to do this), then you do not have access to your contact list when composing a message.
THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING - PLEASE HELP.
