verizon network connectivity after lollipop

I waited forever for this update hoping it would address the network issues I was having on the prev version. Now they have gotten worse. I used to be able to go into/out of airplane mode and I would have connectivity again, but now that doesn't even work. This in a place where my last phone NEVER had an issue getting connected to Verizon on 4G. Now I have NO G. this is horrible

Lets work together to get your phone working properly again! How many bars of service are you getting in this area? Does the phone work properly in other locations? Have you tried performing a backup and factory reset (links below)?
