I have suddenly lost the ability to make or receive calls on my Samsung galaxy s4. The calls will seemingly connect, but the connection is "dead" on both ends of the line. It it not the volume, microphone or speaker and every other function of the phone seems perfectly fine. As a desperate resort, I have even tried a hard reset. If anyone has experienced this, your suggestions would be most appreciated.
I just discovered the same thing with my GS4. I was out and discovered this when trying to phone home. I normally cannot use my phone at home because Verizon reoriented their local towers and I have no coverage at my home.
Well, after about an hour my phone started functioning again so I guess Verizon had a problem and got it corrected.
