"Okay Google" app not working

Not working by voice or typing.  Tells me I'm offline.

Happened both before and after the latest update.

Tried on both mobile and wireless.  Updated to Google app to try to resolve - did not help the issue.

Let's work together so you can enjoy this feature to. Are you able to use other online services without an issue? For example, are you able to call, text, and browse the web on your Galaxy S5? Also, what software version do you have on the S5?

The Google search is not working. I use message+ with okay google - the microphone that was in the lower left corner of the key board is no longer available.6.0.1 version galaxy S5

It is up to date - and still the microphone is not available on the message+ for speech to txt

For the microphone not appearing issue, do you see a gear or an emoticon on the lower-left on your keyboard? If so, you should be able to press and hold on either of those, and a small menu will open, giving you the option to set that spot on your keyboard back to the microphone.

I should have said before - I did hold down on the gear it gives several options but the microphone is no longer available
