for a couple of months, my phone has been taking pictures but some are partially or fully grey. Not transparent, but full grey. When looking at them in the gallery, they appear to be fine at first then turn grey after looking at them.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Which camera app are you using? Have you tried a different one?

It's the app that came with the phone from the factory. Currently, I have the photos being stored in the SD card. Perhaps the card is malfunctioning?

Or it isn't fast enough. Does the issue occur when you save the photos to the internal memory space?

Good point, Ann154. Yours always are. If the pics store okay in the internal memory, then it may be the card.

I have found that I always use a class 10 or better SD card in my phones to provide the best read write speeds between the phone and the SD card.

Heetseeker,
Help is here! Let’s definitely figure out what is going on with this gray portion that shows up. When did this start to happen? Is there any sort of physical or liquid damage to your phone? Please click here http://vz.to/2lccSlR to reset the camera app to see if this does the trick.

These instructions don't work. You can't force stop apps, let alone the system apps, all at once. You have to stop each app separately.
