newest update oddities

I received an update on my phone a couple days ago, the update that gives you caller ID and flip book. Since I received this update, I have noticed that when my wifi is connected, the status bar shows both the wifi symbol and 4G. Has anyone else noticed this? It doesn't affect my phone performance or anything, my phone has accepted this update surprisingly well actually. My only concern is data use charges. I don't want to be charged an overuse charge for going over on my data plan when I think my phone is conneccted to wifi, but may actually be using the 4G connection. Is it downloading on wifi or 4G? I'm surethere is a way to determine this? Anyone with advice or comment?

Mine did the same thing.  Turning airplane mode on and off seemed to fix it

It's a quirk of the new stupid caller ID app. Disable the app and restart the phone and it'll stop doing that.

Could you please tell me how to disable the caller id along with the flipboard...I can't seem to figure it out.

Thanks

Go to settings -> apps ->, find the app in the list, tap on in to view "app info", you should see the "Disable" button.

But if you disable the Caller ID app does that mean you have no caller ID whatsoever or just not this enhanced version Verizon is pushing?

You just won't have the enhanced version.
