Downloads and text attachments are saved on the internal memory and have to be moved manually.

Thank you, that's what I thought. That is a pain and there should be a setting so you can tell it to save to the SD card automatically. Some days I really miss some features like this and being able to back up my settings on my LG phone. Mary

If you go to the camera app and hit the setting icon you can scroll to the setting for where the pictures will be stored.
Trust me its there you have to look around in the settings (it looks like you cannot move the different settings when your in there, but you can) why is this so hard to explain? the words just wont come out correctly

androidfreak, You doing a great job and maybe this will help clear things up a bit. Go to camera app - then settings - next slide the drop shade up or down until you see Storage location. When you tap storage location you can select SD card or device storage. And like tikbar1 said your downloads and text & a few other files are all saved to the system files but all can be moved with your computer and fast. Do backups first before, be safe.

I also gave the 'how to' for changing photo storage location via the camera settings in post # 7.
