I want to change the frequency that the phone checks my email accounts. I was able to access a screen that allowed you to select how often the phone checked. Now I can not find it anymore. I am running down my battery by the end of the day. There was a software update recently that may have affected the menu.
Hi deertrailcats! It's great that you're doing everything you can to concerve your battery on your S3. The email frequency is definitely a contributor to battery life. Depending on the type of email account, some options for email frequency may not be available. Gmail accounts, for example, will always push changes to your phone. For other Pop or imap email accounts, you can adjust the frequency during set up if that account supports options other than pushing the changes http://bit.ly/MoDBru .
