If you were coming from a device other than an older Galaxy, not all of the fields may have transferred. In fact, if you used Google to backup and restore your contacts, that could have happened anyway. I know Samsung like to add extra stuff into their phones and may have added a field or changed it in a way that Google was unable to translate.
