This must be a verizon issue. I was able to do this upthrough 3 days ago with an s9+ but all of a sudden I cannot send or receive messages anymore.
That was my opinion as well. However, it does work if you find and select the message+ setting that state's sending over wifi is preferred.
We want you able to send text messages. I'd like to troubleshoot toward a solution. Please check your private messages for details.
