hi I am moving to Canada for couple of years. I need to know if I can use the Verizon Samsung s3 in Canada with a Canadian service provider after I terminate the contract with Verizon in US. Verizon tech support has been of no help, got different answers form different people each time I called.
Do I need to unlock the phone or something before I travel to Canada, if so what needs to be done and where? Verizon said they cannot unlock.
Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated. thanks

Should be unlocked. If there is a compatible network, you can talk to the provider about activating the device on their network.
