I'm getting the new gear friday so I will be giving my girlfriend the old gear for now is it compatible with the s5 she'll be getting it friday also

Making sure accessories are still compatible is very important when you go from one device to another. hefeweisenguy29, with regards to the original Galaxy Gear, all reports I have read mention that it is compatible with the S5. While the phone still isn't out yet, you shouldn't have an issue. Enjoy your new phones!
